Donald Lawrence Duff, passed away at the VA Medical Center at Ft. Harrison, MT, on November 25, 2024, because of a long illness. He was 64 years of age.
Don was born at ST. John’s Hospital in Helena on May 25, 1960. He was the first child of Gary and Larene (Kleve) Duff. Don had a wonderful sense of humor and was very talented at making people laugh even at a young age. Unable to pronounce his grandfather’s name he became, he became “Bunca”; his grandmother was “Ghana”. From there on that became the names the family used for them.
Don loved “Panning” for gold and went on many outings with Uncle Bruce. He had a passion for Harley motorcycles. Mechanical repairs he actually enjoyed almost as much as riding.
Don loved animals, especially dogs, He could not resist a Chihuahua. Don was a big man, seeing him with such a small dog was quite a picture. Don had a great love for his paternal grandmother, Frances Duff and his maternal grandmother, Donna Kleve. Both preceded him in death.
Don is survived by his four children, Brent, Forey, Jimmy and Shena; his parents, aunts and cousins, sisters, Kimberly and Robyn, brother, Ryan. We Don’s family, thank all at the Va for the care and kindness Don received in his final days.

You were a kind soul Don. I’m glad we were friends and grew up together. So blessed I got to see you and talk with you at the VA last time I was home. Rest in peace and I’ll be saying your name daily so you hear it in heaven and your not forgotten.

I just found out that you are gone on to the next life and my heart sank. I wish that you had followed what you told me when we had our long talks but as soon as you got out I wouldn’t hear from you again tell till they caught you again. As I always told you to do the best you can with the cards you’re dealt! I suppose that you did it just wasn’t enough. Well you are with god now and I should have some motorcycles to pick up. I won’t hold you to it though. I hope you are finally at peace! Love you my old friend see ya on the other side
