Doris Ann Miller, 86 of Helena

Doris A. Miller, age 86 of Helena, passed away February 18, 2013 at Big Sky Healthcare Community.

Doris was born March 12, 1926 in Butte, Montana. During the war, she moved to San Francisco, California, where she met and married her childhood sweetheart, Martin Miller. After the war, Doris and Martin returned to their beloved Montana. They lived in Butte, and later Anaconda, before moving to Helena in 1962.

Her last employment was with Cooney Convalescent Home and also at the White Mill Bar.

Doris was preceded in death by: her parents Elsie and Ed Diller; sister, Millie McCleskey; brother, Eddie Diller; husband, Martin B. Miller.

She is survived by: her son, Marty (Renie) Miller of Eagle River, Alaska; daughter, Tina Marie Maedche of Helena; grandsons, Brett Miller of Whitefish, Montana, Tod (Tricia) Miller of Eagle River, Alaska, and Shawn Maedche of Helena; granddaughter, Stacie (Shawn) Ihrig of Eagle River, Alaska. Great-Grandchildren include: Britta (Chris) Joy of Whitefish, Montana; Bridjett and Brielle Miller of Whitefish, Montana; Dakota and Morgan Ihrig of Eagle River, Alaska and Sadie Maedche of Helena.

Doris leaves numerous friends, which are too many to mention, whom she loved dearly.
