While working in a Choteau law office, she met and married Bert Moon in 1939. Their home was on a farm outside of Pendroy, Montana. Three children were born of that marriage. Doris and Bert were divorced in 1952 and Doris and the three children moved to Choteau, where she became employed at the Country Extension office.
In 1953, she married Harry Jardine and two more children graced their lives. Doris again had a change of employment and went to work at the ASCS office from 1955 to 1964. In 1964, the family made a move to Helena. Doris then worked for 19 years for the Hal Swanson Insurance Agency.

Doris led an active life for many years. She loved her family dearly and was always up for a family gathering. Her and her hubby, Harry traveled many winters to Arizona and Nevada. Their favorite spot to snowbird was Pahrump, Nevada. During their many trips, they made many new friends and collected many memories.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I know you had already lost her but not having her around physically will be hard too. If there’s anything we can do, let me know.
