Dorothy Lasko, born Jan. 9, 1924 in Wenatchee, Wash., died Dec. 2, 2011, in Helena at home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Hazel (Ogilvie) Mehelich; sister, Helen Aspholm; brothers, Jacob (Bud) and Steven Mehelich; and by girlfriends, Marie Freyler, Mary Saginaw and Gloria Marshall. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Richard) Hopper of Denver and Rita Lasko of Helena; sisters, Mary Ann (Richard) Duffy of Helena and Roberta Thorne of Seal Beach, Calif.; special niece, Dorothy (Chuck) Larson of Vancouver, Wash.; and many other nieces and nephews.
Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice of St. Peter’s, who made Dorothy’s time at home so very comfortable. Their caring and compassion is unsurpassed.
