I am so sorry for your loss. I got to know Dorothy over the years when she first inquired about Touchmark your father, James. We continued to connect over the years when she came in to get a few of our residents to
Pachyderm meetings. I have recently wondered how she is doing as I haven’t seen her in quite some time. She had such a kind & caring spirit. Dorothy will be missed by many.

Margaret and Julie,
Dorothy volunteered with me in the St. Peter’s library for many years. She was such a good worker — accurate, dependable, and loyal. We were on different sides of the political spectrum, so we usually avoided those subjects, or discussed them with cordiality. She spoke of you both and of her life in California before returning to Montana with Jim. We shared a love of garage sales and it was always such a delight to run into her on a Saturday morning, or better yet a Friday morning after I too was retired — the day of better finds. I last ran into her at Goodwill perhaps two years ago, and she was sharply dressed and as cheerful and friendly as always. I occasionally pass her house corner and recently noticed the absence of yard signs for the election and wondered for her health. It is good to hear that she passed peacefully.

Dear Family & Loved ones of Dorothy. You are all so very fortunate to have had Dorothy in your lives. Up until Dorothy’s health issues, she was always the eager doer of so many things, organizer, fun personality, sharp dresser, caring & sincere with well wishes for all of us. I always looked forward to our visits in our like minded groups & community events. I also count my self fortunate to have called Dorothy Friend for many years. Rest In Peace Dear Dorothy. Sending Air Hugs to you in Heaven. Evy Sass

We got to know Dorothy and Jim(the bubblegum man) years ago as a struggling clinic. They became much more than clients, they became good friends. Dorothy was always full of life and smiles, we all loved her.
