My heart is very sad. Dot was a Dear Friend and we had many delightful and happy times. We worked together at Bryant School and she was a delight in the Library. My Special Need Students loved to go into hear her read stories to them. Our trip to Portland to visit my daughter was filled with great laughter which we talked about and remembered often.
To Dear Gordon, Jeff, Kent and Kurt my deepest sympathy. I know they will miss Dot terribly as will I.
Pamela Day says
My Aunt Dot… Bigger than life, Full of love, honesty, and sass! She loved to travel with us on Spring Breaks, From Disneyland to Scottsdale and many places in between! My children were so lucky because they were able to spend every day at Bryant school with their Aunt Dot! That came with special privileges such as eating their lunch in the library with her And being able to have breakfast with her in the mornings. Our family will never be the same without her, when I needed something hemmed or I needed advice Dot was who I would call. She stepped in as a mother and a grandmother when I needed her
the most! Our family has wonderful memories with Dan, always willing to go on an adventure with us! I can see you having a cup of coffee and a smoke with mom,Grandma Mary and Pat. I will miss you terribly! Another angel to watch over us! Rest In Peace until we meet again!

Words don’t come easy to express the loss I feel because I will never have another conversation with this lovely lady. When I think of Dot, I think of the gladioli flower whose meaning is strength and integrity. These are two of the traits that I admired most about her. She taught me that it is ok to accept a warm hug from a friend and she never saw me without giving me one. She was the friend who always had your back and you knew it. I cherished my friendship with her and appreciated how special and warm and loving she was. My world was better with her in it..
Joe Ellwein says
