Dorothy M. Johnson
June 21, 1931 – January 26, 2022
Dorothy Mae Johnson, 90 years, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2022.
Dorothy was born on June 21, 1931, in Havre Montana to Clarence and Ruth Harden.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Glenn C. Johnson. They were married on May 3, 1953. They had a loving 64 years together and shared the love of teaching and traveling. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Liedle and her husband Glenn, and her son Marshall Johnson and his wife Laura, as well as her two granddaughters, Alivia and Harleen Johnson.
Dorothy was always smiling, and brought her warmth to everyone who met her. She was a teacher of English at Northern Montana College in the 1950s, and later continued her teaching of music. She was also a Christian Science Practitioner and helped counsel many throughout her life. Most importantly, she was also a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
There are no formal services planned as per her wishes. She will be interred, with her husband, at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison. Her family especially wants to thank Sharon’s Sunshine care for all of their comfort, care and love. She touched the lives of many and will be surely missed.
