“On the Wings of a Snow-White Dove”, DuWayne Curtis Price, 78, left his home in Lincoln, Montana and entered Heaven on May 27, 2021. He was greeted by and wrapped in the loving arms of his mom, Hilda.
DuWayne was born on August 2, 1942 in Fargo ND, lived on a farm in Wolverton, MN, graduated from Barnesville, MN High School in 1960. He joined the U.S. Army and served one year in Vietnam.
DuWayne had many enjoyable careers. In 1975 he graduated from The North Dakota State School of Science, Wahpeton ND. He created a successful company as a Certified Air and Hydronics Testing & Balancing Engineer in Fargo ND. In 1997 he & his wife, Sharon found Lincoln, Montana and fell in love with this little community.
DuWayne’s grieving family includes his wife of 57 years, Sharon, Lincoln MT, daughter, Mary Sorenson and son, Billy Price, Fargo ND. Grandchildren, Melissa Hollowell, Sacramento CA, Login, Aaron and Steven of Fargo ND and 3 elderly rescue cats, Windy Dae, Autumn, & Eclipse.
DuWayne was a hardworking, quiet, caring & gentle man. His suffering from aggressive cancer is over and he is ” Free at Last”.
A service with military honors will be held at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison, Montana later this summe. A Memorial account has been set up in Sharon Price’s name for DuWayne at the Citizens Alliance Bank, P.O.Box 9, Lincoln, Montana 59639 to help with final expenses. I met you at the airport today when you were picking up your granddaughter. This was a lovely obituary and I really like his picture.
May you find peace and comfort knowing you were the best caregiver he could have ever asked for. The memories will always be with you.
