Peggy was a dear friend of mine. I was the office manager at Covenant UMC and Peggy would help every week. She was dedicated and I could always count on her. I treasured our weekly time together. Folding bulletins always provided time to really get to know each other. Easter was her favorite holiday and she would always have Easter baskets for my children. I loved our time together and when I stopped working there, so did she. I would come visit her at her home, but not as much as I hoped to do. She was like a grandma to me and I truly love this woman and am thankful God placed her in my life. I’m sad to not be in town for the memorial service. I will be there in spirit. May her family know how much she loved them and treasure the memories. God bless you during this time of sorrow.
