I am sorry to learn of Betty’s passing. What a vibrant and lovely woman she was. I started working with Bill and Betty in 1991 – they were two of my first clients when I moved to Helena. What a gift it’s been to know both of them. I’m happy they are now together again.

Reading of Betty’s passing comes as a great shock. I first met Betty while volunteering at the MT Historical Society. Later on we became neighbors. She was a great lady and I will miss her. My condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. I had the pleasure of volunteering with Betty at Montana Historical Society. Betty always loved to read the newspaper articles and point out to our group an interesting news article.
Mary P Ruedisili says
Betty was a special friend and mentor to me at the YMCA. I’m so sad that she won’t be here to exercise, walk, and drink coffee with. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her very much.

Betty was one of my favorite people in the whole world, and I will miss her terribly. Early in our friendship we
discovered we both loved cross-country skiing, golf and swimming. When that ended, we met for lunch almost
every single Wednesday. Its hard to imagine not having her in my life anymore. what a darling, smiley lady she was!
Ellen Feaver says
Betty was such a role model! She was a regular at YMCA Kettlebells. I tried to make sure my kettlebell was at least as heavy as hers. She joined a group of Y ladies for winter trips to Fairmont, where I got to know her better. She was humble about her career, but she was a chemist at big companies, when only men had jobs like that. Her knowledge about everything was amazing. She was the best Trivial Pursuit player ever. I feel blessed to have known her. I miss her a lot.
Katie White says
I am so sad to hear about Betty’s passing. Betty was the longest active volunteer at The Montana Historical Society, dedicating 40 years of service, which is such an impressive accomplishment! I just saw Betty a few weeks ago busily working away on the newspaper project in the library. Betty was such a hard working and dedicated volunteer. I had the honor of working with her on so many projects. Betty was a wonderful woman and she will be greatly missed by all of us at the Society.

We are so sorry to hear about Betty. We were in a dinner club with Betty and Bill several years while living in Helena, we also made a trip to Mexico with them during that time. What fun memories we have of those years with them.
Susan Russell says
I met Betty when she was walking her little white dog Sasha. Our big white fur balls adored Sasha and Betty, who always had a pocket full of dog treats. Betty had a space at the community garden in our neighborhood, so in addition to walking dogs, we frequently walked there together. I had no idea she was 87 — such a youthful spirit!
Nancy Roe says
I’m so sorry to learn of Betty’s passing. We played together in the Helena Symphony for many years. She was a kind and gentle lady, with a “can-do”outlook that was refreshing. I’m glad we got to share so much music together.

Our dear aunt Betty,
A lovely, smart, active, phenomenal woman who shall be missed by many!
Sending our love and prayers to “Benny & Becky” that they will grow accustomed to their new lives without their beloved Mother’s physical presence.
Love from the Allison “kids”.
