Emily A. Johnson, age 69 of Helena, passed away at her residence on August 31, 2012.
She was born in Alanta, Idaho on June 22, 1943 to the late Ernest and Lila (Smith) Johnson.

I’m so sorry to hear of Emily’s passing. She was a great friend and strong support for my mother, Joanne Maynard. My mother has had dementia for the past few years but Emily is one friend who has stuck by her and visited often.

I remember Emily well from the days that I lived in Helena, and we both attended the First Presbyterian church and were in womens activities together.
A bright light has gone out but I’m sure if we look hard enough we’ll see a brighter star in the heavens and she’ll be watching over us till we all meet again.
