Ernest E. Swartz, age 78, of Portland formerly of Helena, passed away October 20, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Nan; daughter, Lisa; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons Gus and Eddie, parents, and sister. A Funeral is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave., with burial to follow the funeral at Resurrection Cemetery. Coffee and cookies will be held in the social hall of the funeral home following the burial.
