Ernest was my uncle. Over my growing years I worked for my uncle on occasion. To this date I remember two qualities in him that I’ve always admired. He was not only the hardest worker I’ve ever known , he is also probably the brightest man I’ve ever known. Just my observation growing up.

I agree with my brother. Ernest was the hardest worker I’ve ever known and had the highest integrity, as most poeple of that generation had. He took great pride in his work and the things he made were made to
perfection. He had a twinkle in his eye that I’ll always remember. God bless you, Ernest. You are missed and will always be loved.

It was an honor to meet Lacy’s Grandfather at her wedding to our grandson, Chris in Chicago. I know Lacy wishes he could have lived to meet their firstborn child, but it was not to be. Our hearts go out to all of you..
