Ann shared her gifts with many children over countless years as a reading volunteer in my program at Broadwater School. She was always faithful, coming weekly, with a hearty and positive smile. She encouraged the children who responded consistently to her compassion and kindness. My spirits always rose when she walked through the door as I looked forward to the time she spent in my classroom. She was so well liked by the other volunteers as we got to know one another over tea and coffee on recess break. Her strong belief in goodness and her sense of humor still bring a smile to my lips. I am grateful to have gotten to know her and enjoyed my time with her. She lives in my heart and prayers. Sincerely, Laurie Wiedmann

Oh, Aunt Stuzzy! I loved the video your grandaughter made for you. It has been so long since I have seen you or my cousins. I will always be sorry I was unable to meet you in Alabama for your last visit with my dad. But I heard all about it and saw beautiful pictures. I could just feel the love your kids and grandkids felt for you by watching that video. They are so lucky that they had you in their lives. Do me a favor? Tell Bubbie, Pap-Pap, Uncle Vernon, Aunt Liddie hello for me! 🙂
Janet, Joyce, Duane David — my love to you!
