Evy was a wonderful lady. I worked with her at The Department of Institutions. We had a lot of good laughs with her. She had a very interesting life and the stories of her adventures were great. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Dear Evelyn – How I will miss you! I have known you since I was a little girl. For years I worked with you through the East Helena VFW Auxiliary. Later in life after I joined the Navy, we would march together every Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day in East Helena. You had so much spunk and continued to march until almost 80. In 2002 I moved to Bozeman but we still kept in touch. We even shared the same birthday March 30. I have enjoyed our friendship and good times. Jerry and Family – I am sorry for your loss. Evy was pretty amazing. Fair winds and following seas my friend and shipmate. Until we meet again.

Evy was such a dear soul and I really enjoyed our visits together. She was so vivacious and never had any trouble speaking her mind. That’s what I love the most about her – her honest integrity. She loved being able to serve our country and I’m sure she did it well. I will miss your smile and the way you hunched up your shoulders in that “innocent, little-girl” way that you always did. But I am so thankful you no longer have any pain and that you are in the presence of Jesus – forever and ever. Until we meet again, dear friend, I love you.
