Dear Booth Family,
My sincerest condolences. I am saddened to hear of Fern’s passing. I always enjoyed seeing her fluffy white hair at church and her warm smile. She was a very kind woman who had a strong testimony of the gospel. I pray for your comfort and peace at this time.
Sincerely,

I had the privilege of living with both grandma and grandpa Booth while my father was ill and passed of cancer. Grandma was there for us when we were told that he passed away. She held us close while we cried, for days it seemed. Answered our questions with nothing but love. I can officially say I had the best grandparents on the planet. You cannot mention one without the other. Because they were and still are the perfect example of true love. They were always there for not only me but also my kids. Its truly amazing the amount of lives they not only had a hand in but spread their love to. Not just in words but personally had invested time with. Their love is a true testament to devotion to family. Their passing doesnt change that. I know their love for each other is so strong it holds no weakness even to death, its not the end. Yet a beautiful beginning in eternal love and afterlife. A wonderful continuation of their love story. The perfect example how love, life, and faith should be.

I loved Fern. We used to go to the temple every week before she moved to Utah. I got to know her very well when I was the director of the family search center. Fern loved genealogy, and served for many years helping people discover their heritage. I know she is with her husband, and very happy where she is. I also know there is a sadness without her. My condolences to the family.
