Frances D. Johnson, 49, died Sunday, Sep. 4, 2011, at her home in Helena. She was born Aug. 18, 1962 in Los Angeles, California to Joseph and Frances McTarsney. She graduated from Newport Pacific High School.
Fran married Mark Johnson of Stevensville on June 29, 1985 in Victor, Montana. She and her husband moved to Helena in 2003.
Fran loved playing video games with her husband, but her real love was in her genealogy, which she also shared with her husband, where she compiled information on over 30,000 family members. This research helped her gain membership into The Daughters of the American Revolution.
Fran is survived by her husband, Mark: mother Frances: stepfather David; Brothers Frank and John; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Shain.
Fran was a very loving, kind, and compassionate person who will be missed by all.
