My beloved Aunt Fran was truly a ‘second Mother’ to me and my brothers. My memories are filled with her laughter and warm presence. So many, many treasured times together – Lincoln family reunions, Fairmont golf outings, shopping trips to Great Falls, Missoula getaways, treks to Seattle/Tacoma, vacationing in Hawaii, a very special stay in Palm Springs with my Mom, Uncles Cliff and K, Aunts Fran, Peg and Melba , and my cousin Karen who so graciously put us all up in her lovely home. Best of all was the months I lived with Aunt Fran while I was student teaching in Helena. We just hung out and talked and laughed and ate. I am so blessed that she was in my life and she will always hold a special spot in my heart. I will continue to see her ‘specialness’ passed along through Denny, John, Mike and Bruce – her ‘Boys’. She loved them like no other and will always be with them. My love and prayers to all the family and friends sharing in the grief of her passing, while celebrating her remarkable life.

I spoke with my sister Linda (Talseth) Miller today and learned that your mom passed. We are so very sad to hear the news. I know she has been suffering for some time now …especially with memory, but it is always sad to lose a loved one….especially our moms.
Fran was such a special person to us. She was like another mom. She was loads of fun when we were all young teens with the Builders 4-H Club and remained a special friend long into our adult years. Even though I moved away from Helena shortly after graduating high school, Fran and I kept in touch. We would sit in her living room for long visits when I would travel back home on vacations sharing stories and laughing about all the Builders Trips over the years. She was so very patient with all of us young people. She was quick with a hug or kind words when we were in need but also was not afraid to put us in our places when we used those sloppy teen manners. It really takes a special person to take that on for as long as she did and enjoy it as much as she did.
She was so very proud of all you boys. Being a mother of four boys myself, I totally understand how that kind of love works! She was a loving mother figure to so many throughout the years, I’m sure God is putting her in charge of the “teens” in Heaven.
We will keep all of you and your families in our prayers and again are sorry for your loss.

We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom…..we know she enjoyed a lot of great years. It was an honor to know “Mrs. Meyer” during our high school years & beyond…..lots of fond memories of her. I’m sure there were some times that Mike & I spent together that were not really ” fond memories” for her…..not that many of course & it all worked out!?!
We are sorry we can not be there today to honor and remember her……and say goodbye. She was truly a Great & Grand Lady. We are thinking of you and cherish all the memories we enjoyed over all the years.
Love From Your Friends in Bozeman,
Tom & Ronna
