Today we celebrate the life of a husband, father, grandfather and friend, Frank W. Brewer. Born in 1936, he grew up in Helena. He joined the army in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1958 and married his sweetheart, Orpha Keiffer. That same year he went to work for Pacific Hide and Fur as a truck driver. In 1969 he went to work doing road construction until his retirement in 1996. He loved getting out into the mountains and driving around, hunting, and camping. In his younger days he was a stock car pitman for his brother Jack. He was a member of the East Helena Rodeo Association and at one time on the board of directors.
Frank passed away on June 16th in his home. He is survived by his wife Orpha; sons, Al (Kris) Brewer, Wes (Teresa) Brewer, Will (Janice) Brewer, Walt (Heather) Brewer, and Ben Brewer; a daughter, Juanita (Russ) Kelley; grandchildren, Taton, Kegan, Brendon, Jade, Coleton, Crystal, Cody, Hunter and Keelin, and a multitude of nieces and nephews; his brothers, Jack, Walt, and Charlie; and his sisters Henri, Linda and Carol. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis (Shorty) and Florence Brewer; brothers, Arthur (Bud), Dean, James, and Lloyd; and his sisters, Millie, Sissy (Betty), and Dolly.
We will all miss his antics, sense of humor, and most of all his big heart. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please visit below to offer a condolence to the family or to share a memory of Frank.
