Our thoughts and prayers for your family at the passing of your beloved father. He was blessed with a long life and was able to be at his home when he passed, which was his wish. He will be missed by all of your family.

God bless Fred & God bless Ethel. They were clients for decades and just sharp as can be. But what really made them stand out was what remarkable people they were, among other things both riding large motorcycles well into their retirement years. My wife told me how impressed she was one time when Ethel showed up for a dental appointment in Montana City riding a bicycle. Oddly enough I just learned today that Fred was born in Galion, Ohio in October of 1920 – my dad was born there in December of that year – and being a small town, they must have known each other. My best to his family, Paul Maloy

It was always a treat when Uncle Fritz came to visit! We didn’t get to see him often, but enjoyed his time in Galion!
David Heiser says
Hi Pat,
I just heard of Uncle Fritz’s passing and I wanted to offer our condolences. I always enjoyed visiting with your Mom and Dad; and particularly your Mom’s stories and take on life. Although I’m sure it is a difficult time for the family, his life was certainly a long one and he got to do a lot of things many aspire to and never really experience. He ventured out west as a young man, and made the most of his opportunities; raising a family, hunting, fishing ,travelling the world, and never having to leave his home at life’s end. Calling his a life well lived doesn’t really do it justice. A lot of history, knowledge and experience left with him.
The last I saw/talked with him was on his 100th birthday, and he sounded the same as always. From what I have gathered, you were the main caregiver the pas couple years; you are to be commended on your dedication to what can definitely be a difficult role to fill. I’m sure you did it with love in your heart, but that does not make it an easy task.
I had hoped that maybe he (your dad) would make it to Ohio one last time, but circumstances the way they are, it is understandable that didn’t happen. I hope if you or anyone in your family ever make it back this way, you will let us know so that we can touch base.
Once again, my/our condolences to you and your entire family.
Love,
David and Becky

Aww We thought the world of Fritz. The best neighbor we could have asked for. My son was especially fond of Fritz he mowed his lawn for him through school and when he left home we did it for awhile. He always had the nicest smile. Such a gracious man.
