Gary was a truly wonderful human being. I will miss him very much. I had the wonderful opportunity to assist him as his disease progressed, and throughout this time we became good friends. I know he worried about me as much as I did about him. He left me with wonderful memories of his sense of humor, and made me smile everytime I visited him. I will also never look at any piece of crystal quite the same.
Because of Gary I also have a friendship with his dedicated wife who cared for him so lovingly throughout the progression of his disease. Also Bandy, a very special, 4 legged fluffball…Thank you Gary…I love you, I will “never” forget you, and I really hope you “visit” me and will continue to watch over me. See you again someday my special friend….

Deloras, my heart is with you today. You were such a loving caring wife to Gary. You exemplified the real meaning of marriage and commitment. I enjoyed my time spent getting to know you and Gary and will always have a place in my heart for you both. Gary is soaring now and he is walking and moving with such grace. Gary often stopped at my shop to look at crystal and cut glass, share a little from his encyclopedic knowledge of glass, sometimes buy a piece, and always leave a little sunshine and rainbows when he left. I’ll miss our visits and hope his family is comforted by memories of his kindness, his optimism and strength.
