Georgenna Coral Whitaker
Georgia was born February 10, 1945 to George and Cora (Young) Whitaker in Helena, MT.
Georgia filled her world with beauty, family, and friendship. She had a love for jewelry, clothing, and her cats.
On November 6, 2011 Georgia passed away from a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Georgia is survived by her daughters, Michelle Hines of Helena and Shauna (Brian) Albrecht of Havre; brother, Al (Martha) Whitaker; sisters, Joane Benjamin and Sarah (John Larsen) Whitaker; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Hines, Jacob Martin, and Olivia Albrecht; great-grandchildren, Graham and Callait; along with many loving and caring nieces and nephews. She is welcomed into heaven by her parents; brothers, Henry, Dean, Monte, and Walter; and sisters, Donnabelle, Geraldine, and Arlene.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. November 10, 2011 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Helena on Friday November 11, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Forestvale Cemetery followed by a reception at St. John’s Lutheran Fellowship Hall. I remember Georgia with great fondness from the times Dad & Mom would take us to Helena or George & Cory and many of the kids would come to Malta to see us.
