Jeri Elizabeth Sylvia, 65, of Helena passed away Friday, June 6, 2014. Jeri was born in San Francisco, California to Joseph O’Connell and Juanita Welch on May 12, 1949.
Jeri worked as a Registered Dental Assistant and moved to Helena eleven years ago. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur A. Sylvia in June of 1975 and her second husband, Eulan Lee “Red” Hastings on November 11, 1995. She was an amazing mother of seven boys; one girl; nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Jeri is survived by her children, John Hallum, Art Sylvia Jr., Wendee Wegner, Bob Hastings, Carl Hastings, Jimmy Hastings, Edward Hastings and Billy Hastings; sister, Candy Smiley and brother, Larry Whitmore; nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday June 15th at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Avenue. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
