Barbara Gallagher says
It was at one of our neighborhood get-togethers in your amazing garage that was the envy of any industrial arts aficionado that Glen told us he would make us a “screaming deal” on your truck/5th wheel, and thus began another level of our friendship with him. Ever helpful and kind, genuine to his core, with a contagious smile and laugh, Glen was a gifted artist, the neighbor everyone would want, a friend to be cherished, a light in his community, a gift to his family. Shortened life, but a long legacy.
Ted Barney says

R.I.P. Coach Mc. You helped mold me and shape me into the person I am today and I “Thank You” for that. You will be sorely missed here on earth, but heaven got a #1 draft pick. To the McLean family my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Reed Clevenger says
Saddened by the news but know that he is still smiling down on all of us. A great teacher, coach, and family friend throughout both of his careers. I will always remember using the shop equipment and benches as dribbling obstacles to heighten the basketball skills for Vicki, Darren, and I during the winter months, and the bond of his friendship, even after leaving Green River, he had with my parents. Our thoughts and prayers to the McLean family.
Walter U. Gomez says
Hello Judy and family, my sincere and most deep sympathies for a truly wonderful person. I worked with Glen in the insurance business and I never saw Glen say an unkind word about anyone. He was truly one of the finest and fun persons to be with. I know that he was kind husband, father and community person. I will always remember Glen and Judy in our travels. He is no longer suffering and is at peace with his loved ones. John: 11:25-26 ” I am the life, Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die”.
He will always be remembered. God you Judy and family
Larry E. Ethier says
I was a basketball coach in Rock Springs and used to coach against Glen in both girls and boys freshmen basketball. We had lots of fun challenging each other and Glen always brought out the best in my coaching. He was one of only a few coaches that I truly enjoyed coaching against, win or lose. I really had a difficult time reading about his passing, but the Glen I knew wouldn’t have wanted me to feel bad. His memory will always be a win in my life.

Darren N. Clevenger says
I cannot imagine what kind of person I would have turned out to be without Glen’s influence. Judy, Darrin and Vicki, throughout the years, Glen provided me with important perspective and advice at numerous points in my life. It began when he was my little league basketball coach, continued through my high school years, and even well into my adult life. The last time I saw Glen, he was staying with my parents and I was home for a visit, and I made a big pasta dinner. He was so appreciative and effusive in his praise for that simple dinner that it jolted me out of the melancholy I was drowning in. I will forever be thankful that he was able to spend so much time with my parents while traveling and visiting his clients. He had such a positive impact on so many lives and I am so grateful that I was one of them. The way he referred to me as “DC” is something I will sorely miss but always treasure.
Todd Fabian says
Judy, Vicki, and Darren – sorry to hear the news. My folks keep me up to date on GR happenings. I have fond memories of the McLean family. Glen & Terry taught me a lot in the junior high/HS days. Sports, hunting trips, and in school -they were always around to motivate, support, and be genuine good fellas! All my thoughts and stories I remember bring a smile to my face like it was yesterday! RIP Glen.
