Glenn Franklin Logsdon Sr., passed away from natural causes at Aspen Gardens Assisted Living in Helena, MT on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017. He was 85 years old.
Glenn was born to Frank and Grace Logsdon on April 14th, 1932 in Great Falls, MT. He graduated from Simms High School in Simms, MT. and married Ruth Ann Elizabeth Ivey Logsdon. Glenn joined the United States Air Force, where he obtained the rank Staff Sergeant. In 1988, he retired from the Montana Power Natural Gas Department as a manager, after a proud and long 31 year career.
Glenn was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many hobbies, including golfing, hunting, fishing, gold mining and he mastered the art of woodworking. He was an active member at the Green Meadow Country Club and Men’s League since 1982. He valued family and especially looked forward to family gatherings that included his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann E. Logsdon; his children, Glenn (Virginia) Logsdon Jr., Linda Kaye (Henry) Criddle, and Robert Guy Logsdon; grandchildren, Joshua Criddle, Christie (Casen) Fitzgerald, Meagan Kaye (Derek) Fox, Noa Criddle, Marcie Lynn Logsdon (Landon) Moore, Jaclyn Summer Logsdon, Cooper Logsdon, Kyler Pea, Glenda (John) Hardin, Vickie (Jeff) Smith, Elizabeth (Tommy) Gibbs; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Glenn is preceded in death by step-daughter, Cindy Adkins; mother, Grace Evelyn Willits Logsdon and father, Franklin Marsh Logsdon.
A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held at 2:00p.m., Saturday October 28th, 2017 at Green Meadow Country Club, 2720 Country Club Ave, Helena, MT 59602.
