Harold Edward Barry, age 87 of Clancy

Harold E. Barry passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 of natural causes. He was 87 years old.

Harold was born in Boulder, MT on July 2, 1936 to Lillian (Glass) Barry and Gerald Barry. He grew up in Boulder where he attended grade and high school. After, he joined the Marine Corps on January 11, 1954. Harold served three years active duty and another five years in the reserves until January 10, 1962. He married Lorna Ulsher on November 17, 1958 in Butte, MT. They were married for 64 years at the time of her passing. Harry retired from the federal government after 27 years of service. He and Lorna traveled to Arizona for many years.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife Lorna; his parents; daughter Becky Benson; granddaughter Karrah Dion; sisters Lillian Shute, Nellie Shoquist, Dolly Giulio, and Lois Braach.

He is survived by his children Todd Barry (Leslie), Vicki Barry-Dion (Wayne), Troy Barry; grandchildren Colin, Keeley, Shelbi, Teagon, Kahsiah and Ethan.

A funeral service for Harold will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 1:30pm at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N Montana Ave., Helena, MT 59602. A graveside service will follow to the Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery- Fort Harrison, 3550 Heroes Rd., Helena, MT 59636. After the conclusion of the inurnment, a reception will take place back at the funeral home. Condolences can be shared at www.aswfuneralhome.com.
