Holland “Holly” Hill Crosby, age 75, passed away during the evening of October 12, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, at his home in Helena, Montana, surrounded by his wife, Carol Crosby and other friends and loved ones.
Holly was born in Tampa, Florida on October 21, 1937 to Verna and Marie Ann Crosby. After graduating from High School in Tampa he enlisted in the US Navy in 1954 serving until 1958, aboard the USS Lake Champlain (CVS-39) during the Korean Conflict.
Holly married his wife Carol, on September 4, 1965, and was married for 48 years until his passing. He retired from Safeway/Vons as a master mechanic after 28 years. Holly was a member of the 7th day Adventist, and the American Legion Post #2 both in Helena, Mt.
Holly was survived by his loving wife, Carol Crosby, and his Brother, Kent Crosby, Tampa Florida, and other very close friends, who loved him dearly.
Holly was preceded in death by his parents, Verna and Marie Anna (Hill) Crosby both of Tampa, Florida.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison. A reception will immediately follow in the reception hall at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave.

I only knew Carol and Holly for a short time. Holly had the most amazing smile and laugh. Their Love was something so special. It makes you want something like that someday. Sending thoughts and prayers to you.
