Jae Carl Zuelke died Friday, June 14, 2019 in Coral Gables, Florida. Jae was born March 2, 1961 in Seattle, Washington to Earl Charles Zuelke, Jr. and Donna Ramsay (Zuelke), both natives of Montana.
Jae moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1966 with his parents and brothers. He attended Sarah Smith Elementary School, E. Rivers Elementary School, and North Fulton High School. Though not born in Montana, he lived with his father and also attended Helena High School and considered Montana his ancestral home.
Jae owned and operated a landscaping business, Peachtree West, in Atlanta, Georgia for approximately 30 years. During this time he raised his 3 children, Dustin, Christian and Airon in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. He subsequently retired and relocated to Coral Gables, Florida.
With his easy charm and quick wit Jae made many friends. He always enjoyed nature and being outdoors. His primary passion was his children.
Jae was preceded in death by his father, Earl Charles Zuelke, Jr, and daughter, Airon Paige Zuelke. He is survived by his mother, Donna Ramsay (Zuelke) of Glen Ridge, FL; sons, Dustin Robert Zuelke of New York, NY and Christian Chase Michael Zuelke of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Mark Zuelke (Katherine) of Atlanta, GA and Earl Keith Zuelke of Glen Ridge, FL; and wife, Anne Clarke of Coral Gables.
A viewing will be held with family and friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2019 at Retz Funeral Home, 315 E 6th Ave., with a Graveside Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Forestvale Cemetery. Please visit below to offer a condolence to the family or to share a memory of Jae.

I remember Jae from high school and am saddened to hear of his young passing. Although it has been many years he is fondly remembered as an outgoing, funny, handsome guy! My thoughts and prayers are with all.
