Jean Ann Clark, age 76, or Spokane, formerly of Helena

Jean Ann Clark, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2024, after a courageous year and a half battle with cancer. Born on June 6, 1948, in Helena, Montana, Jean was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of those around her.

Raised in Helena, Jean graduated from Helena High School in 1967 before continuing her education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987. Throughout her career, Jean worked in various fields, but her time at Key Bank in Alaska held a special place in her heart. She later concluded her professional journey with the Department of Agriculture before retiring.

Jean had a passion for crafting, exploring many mediums, but found the most joy in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces for her family and friends. Her creativity was matched only by her dedication to her family. Jean also loved traveling the world with her family, including a trip of a lifetime to Africa for her 25th wedding anniversary.

Jean is survived by her two sons, Steve Clark and Terry Clark, and her cherished grandchildren, Hannah Kuykendall, Margaret Clark, Jet Clark, and Brook Clark, and Robert Clark. Her loving spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4^th at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave. A memorial service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on September 5th at the funeral home.  A reception will follow the service in the social hall of the funeral home. Burial will follow the reception at Forestvale Cemetery.
