When the Shipyards were shuttered at the close of WWII, my family moved onto 11th Avenue in Helena; that would have been the fall of 1945. Jeanette (Carver) was the first girl I met who lived just a few houses down the street. She was smarter than I was, as she advanced from the first grade to the second, I didn’t. We had walked to school together that first year; I recall that I was quite fond of her. My family moved to a different neighborhood the following year, but I would see her occasionally after that; all good memories of a fine person.
My condolences to her son Dirk and family.

My heartfelt sympathy to Jeanette’s family. I worked with her back in the 70’s. We had fun times at the Rialto after work and at her cabin. I ran into her a few years ago at the Veterinarian ‘s office. She recognized me right away. So good to see her. She was her fun bubbly self.

Jeanette’s Family,
Hearing of Jeanette’s passing brought sadness to our hearts, Jeanette was such a beautiful, joyful person, that you could just not love! Although we did not get together often, when we did we enjoyed every minute being around her! Heaven has certainly gained another angel to it’s choirs. Hard for us, but knowing where she is now makes that a little easier. Rest in peace dear cousin and enjoy the reunion with our family. Love Tom&Sandi Salvagni
