Jennifer was born in Billings, Montana on November 9, 1978. She grew up in Montana between Billings and the banks of the Rosebud. She loved to sing and dance from the time she was a little girl. In 1991 she was the first female football player for the Lewis and Clark Middle School Scouts in an all-boys league. She did awesome.
She enjoyed riding and showing horses, hunting, fishing, drawing and painting. Jen had strong faith. She enjoyed going to church and her women’s retreats. She was active in California Deer Association (CDA). She started a woman’s self-help group which grew so large it became a co-ed recovery group.
Jennifer and her brother Landon had a very close relationship. From the time they were little, throughout thick and thin, they always had each other.
But the biggest, most joyous and important part of Jen’s life were her daughters, Montana Mae McIntosh and Eleanor Rose Kleeman. She had so many friends who meant so much to her including her life-long friends Crystal Williams, Kristy Bohl, and Jennifer Berry. Dan Boyd was not only a friend and employer but became one of the family.
Jennifer worked at Boyd Fencing for 17 years. She was a hard worker and never afraid of a challenge. She always saw the good in people. Jennifer had many hard and trying times in her life; through it all she always had a beautiful and contagious smile. She was taken to heaven trying to move back to Montana, the place she loved.
She is survived by: her daughters, Montana Mae McIntosh and Eleanor Rose Kleeman; mother, Deborah Towler Kleeman; brother, Landon (Lisa) Kleeman; sisters, Kim (Keith) Hardcastle and Sherri Thompson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jen was preceded in death by: her father, Woody Kleeman; paternal grandparents, Iola and Oscar Houdi; maternal grandparents, Jennie and Ruben Garnett; grandfather, Alvine Kleeman and Gray Towler; and aunt, Marina Vallejo.
She will forever be loved and missed.
