In Memory Of

Jolena Kipp Williams

July 23, 1974 – November 11, 2010

Her spirit guides suddenly came and took our beloved Jolena on her journey. Jolena passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 in Helena from injuries received in an auto accident. Jo was born July 23, 1974 in Helena, MT.
Jolena Kipp Williams was a very strong, independent, free spirited woman who did as she pleased and had a good time doing it. She enjoyed hanging out at the lake, spending time in the mountains, boating, camping and sitting around a good campfire, laughing, telling stories. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed it as often as she could. Music was a passion of hers as well as taking pride in her plants. When there was nothing to do, Jo loved to jump in her car and just go for a ride and enjoy the outdoors. She was not much for just sitting around and doing nothing.

JoLena had many friends that loved her dearly, she will be missed by all who knew. Another great influence in her life was spending time with the many friends that were close to her heart. Robin (Gelina) Servera was currently Jolenas closest and dearest friend. They shared many interests, desires, laughs and tears together. They were there for each other through thick and thin. Other dear friends to Jolena are Marion Follette , Manny Pettigrue , Tony Willaims and Rick Has Thepipe. She also had many good friends, nieces and nephews in the Williston, North Dakota area.

She loved her Native American Heritage, if you ever entered her home that was clearly shown. She D.loved any art work, that had wolves on it and could take any little old house, and turn it into her own. She was able to turn a plain room and turn it into a green house, with amazing ability to grow plants of all kinds.

JoLena was currently employed at the Great Northern Motel where she worked as a desk clerk, and night auditor. She also worked at the Red Lion Motel where she was employed for five years.

Jo is survived by her mother, Betty Williams of E. Helena; her daughter, Shawna Stacks (Kyle) of Helena and her son, Brady Indrideson (ex-husband Rubin) from Trenton, ND; her soul mate and best friend, Robert Bird of E. Helena; her sister, Judy Cassette (Jim) from Idaho; her brother Tracy Keller (Tina); sister Jeani Pocha , sister Stacy Bodin (Brian). Her other sisters, Julie Breznik (Frank), Connie Knapp (Charlie), Terri Mangold (Dave); brother, Tim Williams (Cindy); her aunt Opal McPherson (Jerry) of Shelby Mt; her unlce, Rick Pocha (Helen) from Las Vegas. Jolena is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jolena is preceeded in death by her 2 fathers, Dave Williams and Joe Williams; brother, Hank Williams; uncle Pat Williams, uncle Ray Williams, aunt Sis Williams. Her grandmother, Lois Walker, grandmother Ruth Williams, and grandfather Jim Pocha.

I was at Jolena’s funeral yesterday and have to say it made me very sad that as Jolena was an adult I didn’t know her. In the video she looked so happy and so pretty. I remember her as a little girl with her mom and our dad – Dave – Jolena was always so happy – she truly loved her parents and all of her family. I’m sorry I didn’t know her as an adult. Shawna and Brady – please know that I’m very sorry about loosing your mom. Robert – what you said at the funeral was very sweet and I hope that we (Jolena’s step sisters/brother) did bring her some happiness! Take care – Julie

Love and Prayers for the family, especially Brady. Brady is my neighbor and I’ve come to know him and love him. He is going to miss his Mom so much. He has a lot of family and friends here around Williston and we will be here for him, to help him through this most difficult time. May God comfort everyone that knew and loved Jolena. She is in God’s loving arms, now.
