In Memory Of

Jolene Weamer, age 76, of Helena

March 14, 1937 – July 16, 2013

In Loving Memory

D. “Jolene” Weamer, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 16, 2013. She was born Donna Jolene Wallace in Livingston, Montana to Ruth and Joe Wallace, on March 14, 1937. She has two siblings – a brother, Jim and a sister, Florence. She married the love of her life, Joe Weamer, on June 15, 1958 in Livingston. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage. They have three children, Wendy Weamer (Jeff G.) from Seattle, Scott Weamer (Stephanie C.) from Bozeman, and Tami Wickens (Dean) from Post Falls.

Jolene worked as the county deputy assessor for ten years and retired in 1991.  She and Joe spent their years of retirement traveling, camping, golfing, and enjoying time with their grandchildren. Jolene was adored by her grandchildren – Stephanie, Alle, Tiffany, Matt, and Whitney. She was a role model for us all, displaying kindness, generosity, honesty, and loyalty to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.

A memorial service celebrating Jolene’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave, Helena, MT 59602. A reception will follow the service in the Social Hall of the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jolene’s name can be made to Helena Food Share, P.O. Box 943, Helena, MT 59624. To offer a condolence to the family or to share a memory of Jolene, please visit below.

May I offer my sincere condolences to you on the death of Jolene. May your hearts find comfort in God’s Word where it states: “He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) May your loved one awaken to a world where there will be peace (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:11), no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort and hope in God’s Word, family, friends and good memories at this time. My deepest sympathy to you.

Dear Family of Jolene Weamer – Please be comforted by your beautiful memories and by Bible promises at this difficult time. Be assured that it was not a part of the Creator’s purpose that people suffer and die. Everything made by God was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Death was introduced by Adam’s disobedience (Romans 5:12). There will come a time when pain and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4). Faith in Bible promises will ease our pain in the time of this loss. It is hoped that you further comforted by Bible promises that give us hope (John 17:3).
