I will always remember Joe as a kind and wonderful man who adored his bride, Earlene. She would jokingly tell me that he won her heart and hand because he was “a peachy dancer!” Joe would agree and they would laugh together. Rev Richard G. Francesco says
It has been a blessing to know Joe Thares. Faithfulness and reasonability are two qualities I particularly admire in him. No matter what, Joe remained faithful: to God, to his loved ones, to his responsibilities. And, no matter what, Joe always did what made good sense. Challenges did not impede his power of reason.
