Judith Jean Will
March 17th, 1947-January 25th, 2022
On January 25th, 2022 after an extended battle with COPD, Our Wife, Mother, Friend and the nicest Lady you ever met, went peacefully to be with her beloved Jesus. She was at home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born the 17th of March 1947 to Bob and Eleanor Thayer in Plankton, S.D. She was the 7th of 8 children.
When Judy was 17, Terry swept her off her feet and they married and started on a 56-year journey together. She was an instant Navy wife living in Norfolk, Va. Where their 1st child Sam was born. They returned to South Dakota to be near family where Nicolle was born. They found their way to Wyoming for a short time until a job opportunity arose in Missoula, Mt. So, they packed up and left. They ran out of gas in Helena and never left.
Judy was forever the host! When you walked in her kitchen, the first thing she did was feed you! Her generous soul often opened her home to many for as long as needed.
Judy knew everybody! Whether from owning several businesses, including 5W’s Bingo, Motherlode Casino, Cash Advantage or numerous poker games around town. She also ran the kitchen at Federal Reserve Bank until it was time to retire. That didn’t last long! She was never one to just idle. Back she went to the Motherlode to call Keno. She loved the social part. Visiting with everyone.
Judy was a social butterfly surrounding herself with as many friends as possible. Everyone she met became her friend. She dealt cards for 40 years in Helena. Crossing the paths of thousands. Remembering them all, making lifelong friends. She was strong, smart, and blessed
She is survived by Terry. Her daughter Nicolle Seiller of Helena. Her son Brian Will (Amy) of White Sulpher. Grandchildren Lacey Will of Boise, ID. Jax Seiller (Tanna)of Helena, Jacob Seiller (Brianna)of Helena, Jordan Seiller of White Fish, and Karson Shea of Helena. Great Grandchildren Jaxon, Kari, and Baby Boy Seiller expected in May. Her brother Gary Thayer, and sisters Joyce Warren Sharon Fletcher all of South Dakota. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her son Sam and brother Edwin, sisters Viola, Velda and Karen.
Services will be held on May 27th at ASW 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception at the Valley Hub.
The live broadcast will open at 10:45 a.m. with the actual service starting at 11:00 a.m.

I am so saddened by this news. Judy was the kindest and most gentle human being I have ever met.
Never a bad word would she speak of anyone even if there was cause. My tears today are for you Judy Wills.
You will be forever missed and loved.

Judy was such a lovely person. I loved visiting with her when we were playing keno at the Motherlode. She was such a kind, gentle soul who went out of her way for her friends. The world is a little dimmer without her light in it. Nicolle, Dan and I will keep you and your family in our prayers. Hugs and God’s blessings on you all.

Aunt Judy was one of the nicest most generous people I have ever known. Although she was not a biological Aunt I always considered her my aunt as I’ve known her my whole life and she was my momma’s best friend. I love you Aunt Judy and it comforts me to know that you are now one of our angels.
