Julie’s Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, but I do believe she is happy and healthy now. I have some really fun memories of her and I know she was a very caring, fun person. Hope when things get hard, just remember those memories.

Julie was all of us sixth ward brats second mom. She was a women with the biggest heart and could make any child love her. I babysat Kevin and Trent and even with all the things they did to me while I was the babysitter like lock me in a closet until just before they got home I continued to babysit because I loved this family as if they were my blood. Julie got me to drink coffee for the first time as we had a earth and everyone was at school and work i was home not feeling good and I ran to the Morley ‘ s Julie calmed me down we sat the in tire day talking and drinking coffee even when I hated it I couldn’t put enough sugar
and milk in it. She was a women with the biggest heart and you wouldn’t want to leave as she made you feel
right at home. Julie was so good to Magoo and always thought of him as one of her son’s and I couldn’t thank
her enough for that. I love you Kevin and Trent you are
truely my little big brother’s, you can always count on
me for anything. Julie you are going to be truly missed
I love you.
Chuck Price says
I’m still having a hard time grasping the concept that Julie is not with us anymore.
Like many have already said, Julie was like a second mom to me. Her son Kevin and I were best friends during childhood, for the most part inseparable. I probably spent more time at their home them I did my own.
And with both of her boys being jokesters, there was plenty of laughing in that home. And Julie’s laugh was contagious.
Always a smile on her face and a helping hand/heart.
She definitely loved her family, her boys in particular. Going to any means necessary to make them happy.
It was a privilege and honor to know this woman. She basically helped raise me, along with most ask the other kids in the neighborhood.
Her yard was a football field, a baseball diamond, and just about anything else us kids could turn it into. And there she’d be sitting watching us from that big picture window inside, or from the front porch.
Julie, you will be missed but never forgotten. And in case you didn’t know Julie… Victor and Nicki are back together AGAIN!!!! (for those of you that don’t know, one of her favorite tv shows was the soap opera “the young and the restless”) 🙂 ….. I love you Julie!

There are never any words that can ease the loss of loosing a parent, especially your mom. My heart goes out to you. Your mom was a wonderful lady, not only a second mother to many youngsters, but a true friend and care giver to many of the elderly folks in the sixth ward. My thoughts and prayers are with you, if you need anything, get ahold of me.
