As a kid, I just thought she was a “big kid”. She was a lot of fun and enjoyed partying with the Bidleman family. Seems to me I recall she got more talkative and her cheeks got a little rosier after a few drinks.

I am so sorry to hear about June’s passing. June and my mom, Betty Mae DeWolf were best friends their entire lives. When I came home to visit, mom, June, and I would spend time together. It was so fun to listen to them tell stories from times when they were little kids and on through their lives. They had so many stories. They would just laugh and laugh as they remembered the good times. These past few years, before mom passed and they were not able to see one another very often, they talked every day on the phone. June was a wonderful woman. She was so fun to talk to and I loved to hear her laugh. I will miss her.

May I offer my sincere condolences to you on the death of June. May your hearts find comfort in God’s Word where it states: “He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) May your loved one awaken to a world where there will be peace (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:11), no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort and hope in God’s Word, family, friends and good memories at this time. My deepest sympathy to you.

June was a great lady who really enjoyed her friends and it was always fun to be in her presence. Like Dawn, I remember her strong bond with my mom Penny Moore( and all the “Greenies”. I always admired the dedication the five ladies had to honoring birthdays and living their faith. She will be missed.

June was a very kind lady. I enjoyed rides to and from work with her daily on the city bus for many years. We had many laughs and always found something to talke about. “God Bless”

June was a wonderful woman with a smile that could light up a room. It was an honor and a privilege to take care of her.

When my daughter made her first communion quite a number of years ago, the kids baked bread and picked someone at Mass to give it to. My daughter gave it to June, who sent the loveliest thank you card, and made a real effort to support Laura as she prepared to receive the Sacraments. As Laura grew older, she often chatted with us, and was always so sweet and sincere!

Dear family of June E. Gabel – Please be comforted by your beautiful memories and by Bible promises at this difficult time. Be assured that it was not a part of the Creator’s purpose that people suffer and die. Everything made by God was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Death was introduced by Adam’s disobedience (Romans 5:12). There will come a time when the dead are resurrected (John 5:28, 29) pain and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4). Faith in Bible promises will ease our pain in the time of this loss. Treasure the many beautiful memories left by Mrs. Gabel and be comforted by Bible promises that give us hope (John 17:3).
