Karen Rose Karcher Kuebler age 81, passed away in East Helena Montana on November 23rd at home. Karen was born on January 25, 1942, in Glasgow Montana to parents Fern and George Karcher. She attended schools in Nashua and Fort Peck Montana.
After graduating from High School, she married her sweetheart Carl “Dick” Kuebler and spend 60 years together until her husband’s death in 2021. Carl was in the Navy, so they had many adventures traveling all over the next 20 years. She has been a mother and worked at several jobs outside the home that she enjoyed. Her greatest joy was her ability at Art. She was a wonderful painter and crafter. She even sold much of her work at craft fairs throughout her life and was doing Pen and Ink pictures up to her death.
She is survived by her daughters, Christy (Todd) Dighans, of East Helena Montana, Pamela (Michael) Maldonado of Ceres, California; grandsons Stephen Dighans of East Helena Montana, Alexander Maldonado of Ceres California, granddaughters, Jennifer Maldonado Martin of Modesto California, Abigail Maldonado of Ceres, California; great grandchildren Madison and Brody Martin of Modesto California, Sister Patrica Karcher Catt of Salt Lake City Utah and also many other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Richard Kuebler, parents, Fern Lorrane (Lacy) Karcher and George (Pug) Karcher, sisters Joan Karcher Buchholz, Janice Karcher Masters, grandson Timothy Kuebler and Dana Dighans.
There will be a private inurnment service to lay her at rest with her husband at Fort Harrison, Helena Montana

Karen was a wonderful seamstress too – my 5 week old grandson is the 6th recipient of the bassinet cover she made for my brother in 1969! It is a family heirloom and greatly loved. Thank you, Karen

I remember the Karchers – Pug, Fern, and their girls. What a great family!!! We lived next to them (the Palagi’s) for several years.
