Katherine (Kathy) Ella Moore Fuson. On Sunday morning, April 7, 2024, Kathy, aged 73, passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Health after a short illness. She was surrounded by loving family. and her daughter held her hand.
Kathy was born on July 10th, 1950 to John Henry and Betty Fuson in Conrad, Montana. In 1967 she married Richard Moore and they had two beautiful daughters, Georgia and Shannon. In 1975 Kathy and the girls moved and made Helena, Montana home. Her daughters and her grandchildren meant the world to her.
Kathy developed property for a period of time before becoming a real estate agent. She loved work, especially helping people get a start in their first home and be successful in their lives. After retiring she found purpose in helping neighbors.
Kathy had a wonderful sense of humor, a generous heart, and always had “things to do.” She was talented, skilled and creative at taking her projects up a notch. She was an excellent seamstress, making intricate doll clothes and helping her younger sister sew her wedding dress. She had a passion for gardening and canning. She loved working with wood and left a truck bed full of prospective projects. She left with plans for using some of the wood for a new garden frame and had shopping notes in her pocket for her next canning endeavor—happy with things to do.
Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon; her younger brother, Gary Fuson; and by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Georgia Barnicoat (Dana); grandchildren, Tyler Barnicoat (Courtney, Addison, Raylan) and Alicia Barnicoat (Gus); brother, Ralph Fuson (Roma); sisters, Charlotte Fuson (Bill Fleiner) and Julie Rodriguez (Fernando).
