James “Jim, Jimbo” Walter Hart
Kelly “Kell” Michelle (McClue) Hart
On Sunday December 4, 2016, we tragically lost Jim and Kelly Hart. Jim, 56, and Kelly, 49, will be deeply missed.
Together they are survived by their two daughters, Jasmine George and Desirae Hart and their grandson Reid George, all of Helena. Kelly is also survived by her father and step-mother, Richard and Candace (Houghton) McClue of Phoenix, Arizona; mother Denise (Moser) McClue of Mesa, Arizona; brothers James McClue of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kevin (Jacqueline) McClue of Portland, Oregon, and sister Donna McClue of Phoenix, Arizona. Jim is also survived by his mother, Delores (Schendel) Hart, brother William Hart and sister Delaine (Hart) Johnson, all of Helena, Montana, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Walter Hart, and his brother, Gary Hart.
Jim was born in Helena on September 1, 1960, where he went on to attend Helena High. Kelly was born in Billings on January 29, 1967. She attended school in Billings, Bozeman, and Helena. Both were the youngest of their siblings, and as far back as childhood, shared the same interests: music, dancing, nature and wildlife.
Growing up in Helena, Jim lost his brother, Gary, when Jim was only 16. Jim then decided to follow in his father’s and brother’s footsteps and joined the U.S. Marine Corps. After graduating from boot camp in San Diego, California, he traveled around the world for the next 4 years, including Hawaii and Germany.
Jim and Kelly met through a mutual friend when they were in their 20’s. They welcomed their first child, Jasmine, on July 14, 1987. On January 29, 1991, along came Desirae, who was a birthday present for Kelly. Both girls were loved dearly by their parents.
Jim and Kelly tied the knot in Nevada on April 25, 1991. The Hart family then moved to Havre, Montana, where Jim studied drafting at Montana State University – Northern. He earned his bachelor’s degree and the family of four moved to Kalispell, where they had a real challenge, surviving the snows of Kalispell with over 3 feet falling on the first night they moved into town.
The family moved back to Helena in 1999 to help care for Jim’s dad; The Harts were reunited once again with Jim’s family. The couple moved to their current home in East Helena in 2001. Sadly, Jim lost his father to Alzheimer’s that same year. Still, the family flourished, making their home a warm and loving place.
Over the next several years, Jim and Kelly made countless friends and enjoyed making memories with their daughters with indoor and outdoor adventures, including a road trip to Mexico.
James and Kelly lived life with big, open hearts, arms, and minds. They were loved by many, and will be missed by all.

Kelly, I remember you as this cute little redhead that was kind of shy. You were the quietist of the three but you kept up with your siblings. You grow up into a beautiful woman and had beautiful daughters and a adorable grandson, you will be missed Rest In Peace go with God and we will meet again.
Love , your Aunt Susie

Dear McClue family, I am so, so sad to hear of the loss of Kelly and her husband, James. Kelly was such a beautiful part of growing up in Moffit Canyon, and her passing leaves a deep hole. She was sweet, soft-hearted and always polite to me when I came over to hang with Donna. Not many little sisters can fill all those shoes. Kelly was special. You will be missed, young lady. I am so very sorry. love, Laura Whitaker (Westberg)
