Kenneth Allen Squires passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Ken was born on July 16, 1941 in Billings, MT to Rollie and Elsie Squires.
Ken graduated from Great Falls High School in 1959 and attended the University of Montana. He spent four years in the Air Force and married Joyce Marie Haines on October 18, 1969 in Helena, MT.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Elsie Squires, and his brother-in-law Richard Haines.
Ken was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Joyce; daughters, Wendy (Chris) Williams, Cathy (Joel) Zinne; grandchildren, Colton and Cameron Williams and Vander Zinne; his brother, Larry (Jan) Squires and nephews, Brian (Julie) and Kevin Squires and children; valued extended family, Ron & Pat Garvin, Gary & Cindy Harlan and children, Tabitha Garvin, Paul & Rosalie McManus and mother-in-law Clara Bonneau.
Ken was a member of First Assembly of God Church and spent his life serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ken was a gentle man, with high integrity, greatly respected by those who knew him. He was sole proprietor of Squires Bookkeeping Service.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. today, November 1st at First Assembly of God Church, 2210 Dodge Avenue. Burial with military honors will follow at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Ft. Harrison. Memorials can be made in his name to Missions at First Assembly of God Church, 2210 Dodge Avenue Helena, Montana 59601.
