Kenny Gene Loeffler, age 70, of Helena surrounded by his family passed away at his home Tuesday morning December 10, 2013. Kenny was born in Amarillo, Texas July 12, 1943 to Billy and Ruth (Kegley) Loeffler. Kenny and Sharen Hunt were married October 17, 1964 in Spokane, Washington. In Helena, Kenny worked for Van’s Thriftway retiring in 2006 and Bill Robert’s Golf Course. His pastimes were watching the Chicago Bears “win”, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Sharen of Helena; daughters, Michelle (Marty) McFarlane, Kelly (Brian) Principe; sons, Gary Loeffler and Greg (Cheryl) Loeffler; brother, Steve (Deni) Loeffler; sister, Sue (Butch) Hoover; mother-in-law, Maxine Malone; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many many friends he loved dearly.
A social gathering remembering Kenny will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14th at Bowser’s Lucky Dog Casino at 3140 Dredge Drive.
