Kenneth “Ken” George Shanholtzer, age 66, of Clancy, passed away on May 14, 2016 in Jefferson County, MT. Ken was born to Orville and Hilda Shanholtzer on November 25, 1949 in Bozeman, MT. Ken was married to JoAnne Shanholtzer. He established his business, Graphics Plus, in 1988 and was owner of Bootlegger Metal Art. Ken was an avid NASCAR fan and loved snowmobiling, 4-wheelers and goldmining. He also loved the mountains and being around his friends.
Ken is survived by his brother, Robert Shanholtzer, sister, Judy A. Murphy, wife, JoAnne Shanholtzer, son, Kenneth Craig Shanholtzer, and grandsons, Brett, Zack, and Cullen Shanholtzer. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and previous wife, Donna Wenger Shanholtzer.
A memorial service celebrating Ken’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23rd at the First Assembly of God Church, 2210 Dodge Ave., Helena. A potluck reception will be in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the service. Memorials in Ken’s name are suggested to the Lewis & Clark Humane Society, P.O. We really had some good times as kids…trying to make that Honda 50 go as fast as possible. And we shared in a lot of other mischief too. I hope that the family can smile too when they recall those happy days.

I was so sorry to read about Ken’s passing. As classmates, I always considered him such a “nice guy”. Good memories of Ken and high school days. His family was blessed to have him in their lives.
