This makes me extremely sad. When we were growing up we were pretty good friends in school and on the weekends stayed at each others houses. As we grew older we drifted apart but I will always cherish the laughter we shared and the memories of our child hood. Thoughts and prayers of comfort for the family.

What can be said of the most loving, caring, funny ladies I’ve have ever known! We first met in 1968 at Bishop Gilmore and then became bestest friends while both working at State Fund! She was my maid of honor and made all the salads and mints along with doing the decorating at the hall! Time moved on and we didn’t spend much time together after leaving Helena but we still kept in touch! Lavonne could tell you the name of a song by just a few words given to her and who sang it and what year! Her one liners were the best ever heard and funny enough to make you pee yourself from laughter. I am very proud to have her as my friend and I miss her already! Lavonne, please have a huge bowl of macaroni salad, potatoe salad and some crab rolls for me when I meet you in Heaven! I love you my friend and I am comforted by knowing you are not in pain anymore.

It has been one week since I have seen you last. I don’t know how many times I have picked up the phone to call you, with some dumb little thing I have seen or heard. I miss My Big Sister so much. I know you are in a better place and with Chrissy, who I also miss every day, God will take care of you both till we meet again. With a sad heart sending Love to both of you.

So many memories of my Aunt LaVonne! She was my idol when I was a little girl, I can’t hear “long cool woman in a black dress” by the hollies without remembering dancing with her when I must’ve been all of 5 yrs old! I thought she was the coolest person alive
We shared alot of fun times when she lived in Cheyenne and here in Co. Auntie ‘Bon I love you and I know you are watching over all us .

Wow, I was blown away today when I learned about Lavonne’s passing, I had no idea! I was reading an obituary for Joey Deschon and that’s where I learned about Lavonne’s passing. I knew she was sick, but had no idea she was gone. We grew up in the same neighborhood when we were kids. I used to talk to her now and then, she would always share pictures of her grandkids, she was so proud of them! It’s been a hard time for a lot of us people the last year. Rest in peace Lavonne.
