My Dear Grand Mother will be missed.
Her wicked sense of humor. Her desire to serve the lord. The way she held a child as they were the most precious gift to the human race.
Her waffles. The way she giggled when she knew she got away with something. The hugs she would give when you needed them most. I love you Leona. Thank you for being a part of my life.

My deepest condolences to Al and family. I will always remember Aunt Leona as “the fun one”. When I last saw her a few years ago, she talked to me about her sisters. She called my mom “the efficient one”, Aunt Evelyn “the talented one” but referred to herself as “the fun one”. I think this is true. She always had a smile, was quick to laugh, and was a joy to be around.

It is never easy to lose a loved one. I take comfort in the knowledge that she is now in Heaven, in the presence of the Lord, reunited with those loved ones who preceded her.

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
