I am so sorry to hear of Leroy’s passing. Whenever I saw him he always had a smile and asked how I was doing. What a kind genuine man. My thought and prayers are with all of you. Bless you.

Friends, I will always remember your Dad and Mom. They were two of the most loving parents I have known. They were proud people and so proud of their children. I have seen them shed tears of love and sadness over your feelings, actions, fears and happy times. It mattered a lot to me that Leroy would visit his boy, Jimmy, when he thought Jimmy needed him. When he agreed to adopt Brandon and Andrew it was only to be sure that nothing happened that would break up the Doney family. It gave me a lot of happiness to see later in life how it was easy to integrate the whole family back together again. I loved your folks. I enjoyed Brandon and Andrew and their artistic abilities, their antics, their sweetness with Charlene, their “rebel” sides, their anger and their love of Leroy and Charlene. The boys were secure in the love of their entire family. Shauna, I know you stood by your folks in some difficult times and I had great admiration for you. Charlene and Leroy were two wonderful people with incredibly positive attitudes. May your family follow in their footsteps. The world is better because they lived. I am better because I got to know them and their incredible love for their family. Holding you in my prayers.

I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of grandpa’s passing. Grandpa was such an amazing and caring person so full of life, but those we love don’t really go away, nor are they really lost, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear to our hearts, as the love remains with us for love itself lives on in us. I will not forget the special memories that we shared together. If only we could turn back time. Please know that you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Tracie

My heart (and hugs) go out to each of you in condolences with the parting of your Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Nothing can fully prepare us for the loss of someone we love. I have great memories of him that will last forever. He was such a loving, thoughtful and caring person. He will be deeply missed. May god’s grace give all of you comfort during this difficult time. Love Carol
