All of the Prebil kids. I was shocked and saddened to learn about your mom. What a wonderful, gracious and patient woman. She baby sat our kids while I worked in addition to being a close neighbor. I envied her abilities to grow beautiful dahlias and tulips that adorned her yard. A truly kind, beautiful woman. She will be sorely missed by everyone.

Dear Prebil Family – I am so sorry to hear of Lois’ passing. I remember her well from my East Helena days through the East Helena VFW Auxiliary and especially church. She was always pleasant and kind. Until COVID, I would see her when I would take my mom (Vi Betts) to church when I was in town. May happy memories bring you comfort. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We met Lois shortly after we moved to East Helena back in 1963. while visiting her we found out that she was a cousin of my father Argyle Bennett of Bozeman. She always made me feel welcome I am so grateful that I met her. My daughter Vonnie was born on the same day as her son Joe. She was always such a friendly lady. She will be greatly missed. LOIS PREBIL says
Dear Prebil Family,
Please accept my sympathy. I came across your mother’s obituary and I was touched by reading it because my name is also Lois Prebil. I am a Franciscan Sister and I live in Illinois. I wonder how our families might be connected. My grandparents (Louis and Mary Prebil) actually lived in Butte, Montana for a while and then they moved to Chisholm, Minnesota. Dad (Tony) moved to Chicago where he married my Mom (Marge). I wish I had met your Mom; she seems like a wonderful person.
