In Memory Of

Loueen Hartman, age 84, of Clancy

June 30, 1937 – October 10, 2021

Loueen (Lou) A. Hartman, age 84, of Clancy, MT, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, October 10, 2021.  Lou was born June 30, 1937, to James and Alphosine Adams in Gilbert, MN.

Our mom was quite the character and if you knew her you would agree that she did things her way and you either went along with it or you best get out of her way!  Later on in life, her favorite times were those spent with her family.

She married Dan Hartman on June 4, 1955.  They were married for 46 years until Dan passed away in2001.  Our mom was fortunate to find love again with her partner, Rand Sangray.  Mom had many careers during her working years and retired in 1993 from Associated Foods.  She enjoyed winters in Yuma, Ariz., where her and dad were active in golf and shuffleboard.  Later she introduced Rand to being a snowbird.  She returned every summer to Montana to be near the mountains, wildlife, but most importantly her family.

Mom, we love you so much and will miss your smile, your humor, and your love for your family.  You endured so much and never complained and we are so appreciative of every minute we got to spend with you and the memories made.

Lou is survived by her partner of 12 years, Rand Sangray, son Al (Renita) of Globe, AZ; daughters Valerie Hartman (Rusty Giulio), Debbie (Bill) Casey both of East Helena, Lynn (Mike) Miller of Helena, Mary (Tim) Graff of Boulder; grandchildren John, Jessica, Bill, Dan, Amanda, Nathan, Ashley, and Megan.  She was also blessed with 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan, her parents, brothers Gene and Merle, and grandson Daniel Carl.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 29, at 2:00 p.m. at the VFW Club Post 10010, in East Helena.
