McALPIN, Luebecca “Babe”, age 75 of Helena. On November 2, 2013, Luebecca “Babe” McAlpin went to be with the Lord after an extended illness.
Babe was born on January 11, 1938 in Billings, MT to Marcella and Lou Pettit. Babe and her sister Jeannette (Pulver), were then raised in Butte, MT by her parents. Later, Babe met the love of her life, Robert L. McAlpin. They were married on May 17, 1957 in Dillon, MT. During this loving union, they had three children.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert, her mother and father Marcella and Lou and sister Jeannette.
She is survived by her children Louise (Henry) Elbrecht, Curt (Jessie) McAlpin and Dennis (Carrie) McAlpin. Her grandchildren Amie (Honeycutt) and Casey McAlpin, Megan (Hicks) and Ryan McAlpin, Jennifer (Hirth) and Michael Elbrecht, Tanya Knutson and Aaron Harbaugh.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials in Babe’s name can be sent to the Lewis & Clark Humane Society, P.O.
