On May 6th, 2024, Marigail Anne Schreiner gained her wings after battling health issues in Helena Montana.
Marigail was born in Livingston, Montana to Ethel and Clyde Prewett on April 16, 1949. She grew up in the Swan, and graduated from Hellgate High School in Missoula, Montana in 1967. She was the middle child of three. She started her family in 1973 with the birth of her daughter Angel. In 1976 she had her second child, son Joe. She strived every day to provide and raise her children as a single mom with immense love.
In 1990 she met her husband and other half Michael Schreiner. Together they shared many adventures from canning, 4-wheeling, to hunting and fishing, fishing by far was her favorite past time. In her life with Michael, she gained a wonderful family starting with Michael senior and Shirley Schreiner who were a very big part of her life, along with many sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
In 1998, she became a grandma for the first time to Hunter. In 2001, she had her first granddaughter, Makenna. In 2009, she gained another granddaughter Hannah and grandson J.T.
In 2009, her last grandson Caden was born.
Marigail and Michael spent as much time with family as they could making memories hunting, fishing, doing cook outs, taking drives, rafting the river, or just sitting by a campfire in Clancy, Helena, Whitehall, and South Dakota. She traveled with Michael every year to South Dakota to see her most loved fishing partner Michael Schriener senior who was a father to her. This was one of her favorite times of the year.
Marigail had many careers in her lifetime. She worked as a waitress, a secretary, in the Helena Legislature, and as a paralegal. She worked for Gallik Law under Dave Gallik as a paralegal, from 1999 until 2024 when illness took over.
Marigail lived life to the fullest with immeasurable love, perseverance, strength, and integrity. She will be missed more than can ever be put into words. We will love you to our last breath and carry you in our hearts forever.
